WHAT:
Good Humor Ice Cream.

Yes, it’s an original 1969, Ford 250 truck, comes with Good Humor Ice Cream bars (on a stick) complete with a living, breathing Good Humor Ice Cream Man who drives the Truck. He comes dressed like he has stepped right out of the 1960s.
Or maybe right out of a 1950 movie.
We asked Nick:
What is this for? ”
He said:
Anyone looking to have something
unique on their special day or their
event.”
That’s it. Straight up. No nonsense.

We also asked:
What was the inspiration for geting this truck?”
Nick said:
I’ve been in the wholesale ice cream business for many many years delivering to delis, schools and supermarkets but I always wanted to find a truck like this and do events. Ice Cream makes people happy so if we can bring smiles and a unique experience to someone that’s what we’re looking to do!”
Straight up, again. No nonsense.

WHO:
Nick Piazza
Nick Piazza has been in the ice cream business most of his life. NO, all of his life. It started when he was a kid. He even went to Sundae School (pun intended).
It’s been a long-standing dream of his to bring back the good old days of Ice Cream and to also embrace happiness, smiles, and the heart-warming values often associated with sharing ice cream and having some family fun.
Remember Happiness? This was something we valued and was once so important to us.
[ Yes, we can easily lose sight of this if we aren’t paying attention. ]

Mr. Piazza was born and raised in NY’s “Forgotten Borough” (or the red-headed step child of NYC). And next summer, the residents of Staten Island and NJ, can rent a GOOD HUMOR ice cream truck, plus the diver, and get plenty of Good Humor ice cream.
As you’ve probably guessed, in Staten Island, the reception of the truck has been quite a hit.
[ He’s already booked dates for the spring and summer next year. ]

WHERE:
NJ and Staten Island, NY (hopefully to be Staten Island, N.J. one day).
And get this: You call to rent this truck and driver for as little as $500.-800 for a couple of hours on a steamy, hot, sunny summer afternoon. Yes, the truck, and driver comes equipped and loaded up with all the ice cream your little heart desires. Just tell Nick you want. Nick will deliver. You can bet on it.

WHEN:
You can still get Good Humor ice cream in the grocers and supermarkets but, it’s not the same as getting it right off the truck. This is that little touch of Old Fashioned magic. And the kids’ll love it.
More importantly, the Good Humor truck rental comes with the old schooley driver, fully-outfitted in the original uniform, just like back then, in the roaring 1920-1930s. We don’t know if they spoke ‘old New Yawk’ back then but maybe, just maybe, they did.

HOW IT WORKS
Call or email : (908) 670-9711
VintageGHtruck@gmail.com

You tell:
- Nick how many people you have.
- Tell him the date.
- Tell him the type of event or what occasion it is.
- Then you tell Nick what kind of ice cream you want.
The ice cream supply is NOT restricted to just Good Humor bars either.
If you want DOVE bars, Ben & Jerry’s or MAGNUM bars, just ask him. He’ll get it.
[ Ask and you shall receive. ]
And Mr. Piazza will then put together a fair price for your events: B-day Party, Wedding, Confirmation, Communion, a Retirement party, a SI Chamber event, a New Dorp Car Show, etc…
Do a special occasion you dreamt up. Have a party on your lawn (or in some cases) right in your backyard.
